Who this policy covers

This policy explains how True North Malibu Concrete handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a concrete contractor in Malibu, CA, and we use this site so homeowners can learn about our work and ask us for an estimate.

It applies to everything on our site, from the home page to the pages about our services and the cities we work in. If you'd like to know more about who we are before you reach out, our About page covers that.

What information we collect

When you fill out our contact form, we collect what you type in, such as your name, phone number, email address, the property address and a description of the job. That's what we need to call you back and plan an estimate visit.

Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you enter passes through that service before it reaches us. That service handles your information under its own privacy terms.

If you call us at (424) 388-5404 or email us, we keep the details you give us, such as your number, your message and the notes we take about your project.

Like most websites, ours may also collect basic technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that sent you here. This doesn't tell us who you are by name.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember things between visits. We may use cookies and simple analytics tools to see which pages people read and where they leave, so we can make the site clearer and easier to use.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work if you do, though some features may not remember your choices.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to answer your questions, schedule estimates, prepare quotes, do the work and follow up afterward.

We use technical and analytics information to understand how the site is used and to fix problems with it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We only share it when we need to get your job done, for example with a supplier or a subcontractor working on your project, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details and project notes for as long as we need them to finish your job, stand behind our work and keep ordinary business and tax records.

If you reach out and we never end up working together, we don't hold on to your information longer than we reasonably need it. Analytics information is usually kept in summary form and isn't tied to your name.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us and limit who can see it to the people who need it for your job. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive details like bank or card numbers through our contact form.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Depending on where you live, including here in California, the law may give you more rights over your personal information. We'll honor any request the law gives you the right to make, and we won't treat you differently for making one.

We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, so we don't hand your information to the wrong person.

Children's privacy

Our site is meant for adults planning work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our site or the way we work changes. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.

How to reach us with a privacy question

If you have a question or concern about your information, or want to make one of the requests above, call us at (424) 388-5404 or use the form on our Contact page. Tell us what you need, and we'll look into it and get back to you.
